Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your interest in Magically Face Painting!

Our terms are designed to protect clients, event hosts and artists. When booking with us you are agreeing to these terms below, please read them carefully

Indoor/Outdoor Set up Requirements

Minimum Requirements: Please provide us with a minimum space of 4' x 4' Please ensure that there is adequate lighting or let us know in advance if you require additional lights. Clients MUST provide a fully shaded work area for the entire time in any Outdoor event. Please allow an extra time of 30 minutes for set up and disassembly.

End time – To avoid extra time, 15 minutes before the end of our event, we will hand out a sticker or mark the hand of the guests we will paint (allowing 3 minutes per person) in order to avoid a waiting line after them. Only those with stickers /marks will be painted. We want to avoid any confusion so if you could help us inform your guests, that would be great.

Photo consent and release

By having your guests face painted and photographed, permission is thereby granted to use images for our portfolio and marketing materials, such as printed brochures, social media, or website gallery images. No names are ever revealed by Magically for any reason. If for any reason you do not agree, please inform us and you and your guests' privacy will be respected.

Travel and Other Fees

Depending on the event location, travel fees may apply. We are located on Dallas tx 75248 Area, if the event is over 30 mins drive each way, an additional fee will be added, we will let you know the rate in advance!

Supervision

Under no Circumstances will we supervise children.​ Our artists are not in charge of taking care of children, they must be under constant supervision of an adult.​

Health and Safety

We are absolutely committed to the safety of our clients. All our paints and glitters are professional products designed solely for use on skin and have been purchased from reputable and long-established theatrical manufacturers and wholesalers. All our equipment is kept scrupulously clean. Magically hold full public liability insurance and details are available on request at the time of booking. Working Condition The artist reserves the right to discontinue service or leave the premises in cases of imminent danger, violent or inappropriate behavior and/or illegal activities.

Liability Statement

We only use water-based face paints and glitters that are fully compliant with FDA cosmetic regulations. People with skin allergies or sensitive skin should either not participate or have the artist to perform a patch test at the beginning of the party. Artist is not liable for allergic reactions to paints. Client understands that darker face paints may linger and must be removed with mild soap, water and washcloth or baby wipes. For safety reasons, Artists will not paint faces of children under 2 years old or anyone who is unwilling. We follow strict sanitation and hygiene procedures. For sanitary reasons, Artists will not paint anyone who is or appears to the Artist to be sick or suffering from Cold Sores, Conjunctivitis, Ringworm, Sunburn, Eczema, any Infectious Skin Condition or Open Wounds. Artists will use reasonable care, but is not responsible for damage to clothing or property. The Client agrees to pay for any accidents or injuries caused by pets or guests, and/or any damage to Artist's equipment or supplies caused by pets, lawn sprinklers, or guests.

Removing Paint and Glitter

Water-based Face Paint is formulated for easy removal with mild Soap and Water. If there is any staying left behind, please use Micellar Water, Makeup Remover or any Natural Oil. Should the paint get on clothes, use Oxy Clean or stain pre-treater along with regular laundry soap. Glitter Tattoos and Temporary Tattoos can be removed with Rubbing Alcohol, Baby Oil or any Oil based Makeup Remover. Face and body glitter can be removed with Baby Oil any Natural Oil such as Coconut or Olive Oil and rinsed out with gentle Soap and Water.

Unforeseen Circumstances

In the event that I am unable to fulfill my obligations due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness or personal matters requiring my immediate attention, I will provide a replacement artist for your consideration. You will have the option to accept or decline the replacement artist. Please note that this arrangement is designed to help fulfill my commitment to you, ensuring that your needs are met despite my inability to perform personally. I assure you that I will recommend a skilled artist.

Booking Fee and Payment Policies

  • In order to keep the date & time reserved, all new bookings must place a non-refundable 50% deposit.
  • The booking fee is counted towards the total balance and is non-refundable in the case of a cancellation by the client. In the case that Magically must cancel the services, we will issue a full refund for any deposits/payments made by the client regarding the event.
  • Booking Fee must be made within a day of receiving the booking confirmation. If there is no deposit received, Magicallyt cannot guarantee that your date and time will stay reserved.
  • The booking fee may be paid via Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, Apple Pay and Credit Card.
    To secure a booking after confirming availability 50% booking fee is required.

    Until it is received we are unable to guarantee your request for the specific time/date (If paying with credit card 3.5%+0.15 processing fee will be applied)

  • Remaining balance is due 5 days prior to the event date!

Weather Policy

  • We strongly encourage our clients to have a back-up plan in case of unfavorable/extreme weather conditions such as rain, snow, wind, heat, etc.
  • No deposits will be refunded in the case of cancellation by the client due to weather conditions.

Rescheduling Policy

Magically offers rescheduling within the next 30 days. If you are looking to reschedule outside of the 30 day period, Magically will act based on CANCELLATION POLICY.  

Rescheduling five or more calendar days ahead

In the case of a rescheduling request by the client,Magically will update its schedule according to the following rule: If the new date and time slot is available for booking, the booking will be transferred to the new date and time.

There is no rescheduling fee for a successful rescheduling.

If the requested date and time slot is not available, Magically reserves the right to keep the deposit and the booking will be canceled.

Rescheduling four or fewer calendar days before the event

In the case of a rescheduling request by the client, Magically will update its schedule according to the following rule: If the new date and time slot is available for booking, the booking will be transferred to the new date and time.

There is a $50 rescheduling fee for successful rescheduling if rescheduled 1 calendar day before the event.

If the requested date and time slot is not available, Magically reserves the right to keep the deposit and the booking will be canceled.

Rescheduling on the day of the event

In the case of a rescheduling request by the client, Magically will update its schedule according to the following rule: If the new date and time slot is available for booking, the booking will be transferred to the new date and time.

There is a $75 rescheduling fee for successful rescheduling on the day of the event.

If the requested date and time slot is not available, Magically reserves the right to keep 100% of the amount.

Cancellation Policy

In the case that Magically must cancel the services, a full refund will be issued for any deposits/payments made by the client regarding the event.

In the case of cancellation by the client, Magically retains the deposit.

No refunds are issued if the client requested the wrong date or time.

No refunds are issued if Magically artists cannot gain access to the venue or locate the event within 30 minutes from the service start time.
